About the Business
We have had financial support from Business Link South Yorkshire High Growth Start-up, Enventure Landfill Tax Credit Scheme/Parkwood Environmental Fund, UK KTA/TSB grants and others.
In November 2011 The Key Fund provided funding to establish RI as a social enterprise. As a social enterprise, we stand apart from other insulation companies in donating a proportion of our sales income to the education charity Schools & Homes Energy Education Project to conduct renewable energy and energy efficiency activities in educational establishments, youth groups and general public.
In April 2007, Inno-therm was featured in BBC series 'It's Not Easy Being Green' and BBC / DIY/SOS in November 2010. It was selected in 2014 by Kevin McCloud as one of his 10 eco-innovation green heroes - exhibited at Grand Designs Live 3rd-11th May 2014. In February 2015 RI was shortlisted for the M&S/Eco Big Innovation Pitch Award and was provided a exhibition stand at Eco Build.
