Certass

Certass Limited is a UKAS approved certification body for the operation of a Competent Person Scheme under a Department of Communities and Local Government (DCLG) license and a Green Deal Certification Body under licence from the Department for Energy and Climate Change (DECC). Membership of the Certass Competent Person Scheme enables contractors to self-certify that their installations adhere to current Building Regulations as an alternative to submitting a building notice to the local authority or using an approved inspector.

Membership of the Certass Green Deal certification scheme enables contractors to self-certify installations to the requirements of PAS2030, which is the standard for work under Green Deal. Membership of the Certass TrustMark Scheme demonstrates a company's dedication to consumer protection.
